Specter 1, we are good to go. Launch the Tsukihime English Patch.

No seriously, it’s done.

No dorama, either.

And now, a little disclaimer from the lead translator:

Please, no discussion of obtaining the game by any illegal means. I’m not interested in engaging in any philosophical debates. I don’t care how hard it is to buy legally or how expensive it is. We’re not hosting torrents here and we don’t want to see our patch hosted along with any illegal copies of the game.

Got it?

Mirror-Moon don’t want no lawsuits fluing their way, so respect that.

Have fun~

Entry filed under: Tsukihime, visual novels.

A quick peek into the del.icio.us tag ‘anime’ :V Awesome. (And no, we’re not talking about the AWS-8Q or AWS-8J here)

It just doesn’t feel right to see an english translation released without the matching bitching, teen angst, personal attacks, moral grandstanding, greed, indignance, pettiness, flame wars, childishness, damands, anger, naïveness, grudges, taunts, rhetoric, apologists, self-righteousness, tawdry reasoning, laziness, resentment, and damn fine irony.

I mean seriously, what kind of organisation are Mirror Moon running here?!

I got the game in a convenient megaupload on /b/. Am I a bad person?

    woo yay.

I would like to see some idiot bundle the patch and game on HF (and believe me, they WILL do that) and see the drama ensue.

Bring it on. I have resources to attack that bastion of idiots. And I bet Mirror Moon do, as well. Well, I mean, they know /b/tards, yes?
Owait, the /b/tards did it first.

Carl: A well-oiled, good one. These people love TYPE-MOON more than their ideals. Also, we’re a bunch of fun-loving, drama-hating bunch.

So then… we can’t buy the game anywhere, but we’re also not supposed to download it, and therefore there’s a patch that was worked so hard on, but theoretically can’t be used by 99% of the people interested in using it.

    Well, that sort of sucks.

They don’t really care as to how you get Tsukihime, though.

I know, but I suck and am having little to no success getting it to work. A nice pre-packaged and pre-patched bundle would be beautiful.

I’ve tried a dozen suggested fixes on forums and torrent sites and everywhere else, but every one runs into an error. Ah well.
