(For those not in the know, Battletech is what happens when you kick out the Valkyries and let the Destroids get all the AWESOME. Battletech was originally inspired by mecha animé, most notably the SUPERDIMENSIONAL FORTRESS MACROSS and Gundam, but more on the MACROSS part in terms of robot design. Have I mentioned that I am a huge Macross fan partly because of Battletech?)
