I did not see this coming and I am shocked. Shocked at the news.
May 30, 2007
I’m sure you all have heard about the big news.
I’m tied between loling at the news or posting something serious, so I’ll opt to do neither. Instead you get some prose.
The Forgotten’s Death
Psychotic, schizo, loony
Mai hallucinates monsters attacking the school, and Sayuri gets caught in the midst of it.
Unknowingly, Mai mistakes Sayuri as a monster, killing her in cold blood.
When she realizes the recently slain monster is her only friend, she freaks, snaps, becomes fully psychotic
Ignoring the world around her, she kills every single hallucination.
And then, death.
Not something glorious, no angels carrying the battered spirit to the heavens, not for her.
Hers is the death of forgotten people. People who failed to do anything with their lives.
What faces her is not joy or torment, but the quiet that fills the room at night.
Never to be mentioned by anyone, never to be remembered.
This is the Forgotten’s Death.
It happens everyday, to millions of people.
But why her? She did not deserve such an ignominious end.
No one knows.
No one ever knows.
Even the greatest of heroes fall to it. The Forgotten’s Death.
It’s not her fault. It never was.
The End
