Now, you all know the exploits of of a certain Yurie-chan from Kamichu!, right? Wait, what is Kamichu? Oh great.

Kamichu! is about the story of of Hitotsubashi Yurie (who shall be henceforth known as Yurie) who is actually a goddess. Or well, just became one, anyway. Details are unimportant. It’s a slice-of-life meets Shinto that is done relatively well. Think of a much happier version of Mushishi, and swop Ginko with Yurie. Yay! No she doesn’t wander around.

Why do I say Kamichu! is a much happier version of Mushishi? Well, mostly it’s because of all the bright colours used in the series. It’s not dark tones and held mostly at night with a character with white hair and muddy colours. Yurie is cute. No doubt about it.
